Our recommended server will connect you automatically to a country/server chosen by our smart algorithm, which considers geographical distance. Learn more about the workings of ExtremeVPN’s smart algorithms.

To connect with the recommended location/server, please follow the steps provided: 👇

• Simply click the Connect icon to connect to the fastest VPN server.

• When connected, the app turns Orange, signaling secure and anonymous browsing. To disconnect, click the central Orange button.

Looking to connect to a specific location? ExtremeVPN has got you covered. We provide over 6,500 VPN servers in 70+ countries across 88+ locations. With us, you can effortlessly connect to your desired destination.

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

• Please select your preferred destination from the provided list of countries.

• You’re connected to ExtremeVPN with your chosen location.

You can use this feature in the ExtremeVPN app to discover various cities in a country. Need help to select one? Just follow the instructions below. 👇

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

 

• Click the Arrow icon> beside “Locations” to get a list of cities.
• You will find a list of cities available next to each country. Simply select your desired city to establish a connection.

• Yahoo! You are now connected to your preferred city.

Are you tired of scrolling up and down to find a location? Do you want an easier way to sort the locations? Follow the steps given below 👇

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

• Click the Sorting button at the top to arrange locations alphabetically, by ping, or by popularity. You will now be able to sort them.

• Click Sort by Alphabet to arrange the countries alphabetically.

• Countries are now listed alphabetically.

• Select Sort by Popularity to list countries by popularity.

• Countries are now arranged in order of popularity.

• Click Sort by Ping to sort countries by ping.

Note:

Sort by ping is not enabled by default; you must select the Show Ping Values option in the ExtremeVPN app to sort locations by ping.

• Countries are now sorted by Ping.

Finding it tough to determine which torrent servers to use? These actions will simplify your life. Filter out countries that support P2P by following the steps below:👇

• Click the Locations 🌐 option on the ExtremeVPN app’s left panel.

• On the top of the location list, click the P2P button.

• You will then be able to see P2P supported locations.

Our most recent Windows app update provided a Shortcut option for customers to access their favorite streaming applications.

Follow the steps below 👇, to get started with this feature:

• Click the Locations 🌐 option on the ExtremeVPN app’s left panel.

• Select Shortcuts and then Add Shortcut.

• Once you’ve finished entering all of the information, click Add Shortcut.

• A confirmation pop-up will display. Select OK.

• The newly added shortcut will now be shown in the Custom Shortcuts list.

• The newly created shortcut is now active for you to use.

• With the selected streaming website, your default browser will open a few seconds later. You only need to check into the streaming website to use it.

Don’t worry if you cannot find your preferred website in the list! You may also make your own shortcuts.

• Click on Create Shortcuts and add your preferred website.

• A confirmation pop-up will display. Select OK.

• The selected website will open in your default browser after a few seconds.

You may be wondering how? Follow the steps below 👇

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

• To make a location “Favorite,” tap the star ⭐ icon next to the location.

• The location has been successfully marked as a favorite.

Here’s a quick way to set up a dedicated IP address:

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

• To connect, choose the Dedicated IP option.

• You are now successfully connected to your Dedicated IP Add-on.
• If you are already connected to your dedicated IP on another device, you will be prompted to continue as desired.

Searching for a DDoS protection connection? Follow the steps below 👇

• On the ExtremeVPN app’s left side, click the Globe🌐icon.

• Your DDOS IP address will be shown in the upper left corner of your screen. To connect, click the DDOS IP.

• You are successfully connected to your DDOS IP.

Our disconnect option is as simple to use as our connect option. Here’s how to do it.

• When you move your mouse over the connected icon, it will become Orange and ask you to disconnect.

• You are now Disconnected after clicking the icon.
