Connect and Manage Locations

Not familiar with a recommended server?

The recommended server automatically connects you to the best location optimized for your speed and security, proposed by our smart algorithm. Follow these steps to learn how to do it:

• Click on the Connect button at the center of the screen.

• It will automatically select the Best server for you and connect to it. Once the connection becomes successful, you will see a connected notification status. To terminate the connection, press the Green button at the center of the ExtremeVPN app.

Looking to connect with your preferred country? Here’s how to proceed:

• Click the Hamburger button (≡) from the top left of the ExtremeVPN application.

• Tap on 🌐 Locations.

• You can search your desired country in the search panel or find it manually by scrolling down. Once you locate it, click on it, and it will instantly initiate a connection.

• You’re now successfully connected to the chosen country.

• Press the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left of the screen.

• Click 🌐 Locations.

• Tap on the Arrow Icon located next to a country, and it will display a list of cities.

• To connect to a specific city, search it from the search box or locate it manually by scrolling down. After finding one, click on it, and it will start connecting to it.

• You’re now connected successfully to that particular city.

Spending a lot of time scrolling up and down to search for a location? Learn how you can sort locations:

• Click the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left of the screen.

• Tap on 🌐 Locations. 
• 

Sorting by Ping isn’t available by default. To enable it, click on the Ping icon present on the top right of the screen.

• Now, to sort locations, press the Sorting icon from the top right corner.
• 

• Click on Sort by Popularity.

• Locations will now be sorted by Popularity.

• To sort alphabetically, select Sort by Alphabetically.

• Countries are now sorted in Alphabetical form.
• 
• To sort by Ping, click Sort by Ping.

• Locations will now be arranged by Ping.

• Press the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left of the screen.

• Tap on 🌐 Locations. 
• 

• To filter servers by P2P, click on the Funnel icon in the top right corner.

• Check ☑️ mark P2P supported and hit Ok.
• 

• Locations will now be filtered by P2P-supported countries.

Getting tired of searching the same locations every time? Here’s how you can make favorites in the application.

• Click the Hamburger icon (≡) from the top left of the screen.

• Click on 🌐 Locations.

• To mark any location as favorites, press the ⭐ Star Icon next to it.

• The location is now successfully marked as favorites.

You can now rate your session directly on the ExtremeVPN application. Learn how:

• Connect using the Recommended server option or a Preferred location.

• After connecting successfully, you will see the Thumbs up or Thumbs down icon on the screen.

• If you choose Thumbs down, it will ask you to choose a category and leave comments. As soon as you enter it, a support ticket will be generated.
