Configure ExtremeVPN with OpenVPN on QNAP QTS v4.3+

To check your login credentials, you must visit the member area on the ExtemeVPN application.

• Sign in to the member area using your login details (i.e., email and password).

• You can now find VPN credentials by moving to the subscription tab.

• Note down and remember your ExtremeVPN username. To view your password, click on the Eye icon.

• Install configuration files for UDP and OpenVPN TCP on ExtremeVPN.
• From your QNAP user interface, launch the App Center. After that, look for App QVPN Service and download it.
• On QVPN Service, click VPN Connection Profiles on the VPN Client. Now, choose OpenVPN.

• This will now display a dialogue box. Locate the files you’ve downloaded in Step 1 and choose your preferred server location, USA, for example.
• Type in your login details and hit Apply.

Note: You can also find the option of Use default gateway on remote network. Turn in on and click Apply.

• This will create your VPN profile. Press the Connect button. Wait a few seconds; it will turn green once the connection is established successfully.
